Privacy & Trust

Human-readable on the right, legal framing on the left—same commitments, two lenses.

Legalese (summary)

BakiMate processes account data, ledger entries you create, and optional receipt images to provide the app and in-app features. We use service providers under appropriate agreements and retain data only as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations.

You may request access or deletion of personal data where applicable law applies. Step-by-step account deletion for the mobile app is described on our Delete account page. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of our Terms of Service and this Privacy & Trust summary. The app links to these pages on bakimate.com so legal text can be updated without an app store resubmission.

Calculations and disputes. BakiMate provides tools to help you track customer credits, payments, and supplier balances. We do not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Amounts and balances follow the rules described in the app (including how rounding and instalments work, as summarized on our Terms — calculations & rounding). You are responsible for verifying figures that matter to your business and for resolving disagreements with customers or suppliers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BakiMate and its operators are not liable for losses arising from reliance on in-app totals or rounding; your formal Terms of Service should govern when published.

The BakiMate promise

Receipt capture. When you scan a receipt, we may send the image to our AI provider to extract amounts and text. We design for minimal retention: treat images as sensitive, avoid storing raw images longer than needed for processing, and keep derived data protected at rest where applicable.

Your counter, your data.We don't sell your customer list. Analytics we use aim to be privacy-friendly where possible and configurable.
